Minimalist lids are countertop ready and super versatile!
I love these wooden lids! They make any wide-mouth mason-style jar into a airtight-seal canister. I keep my coffee supplies in green Ball jars, and these are easy to open and look great. I bought a set of five on Amazon after buying a set of three at a hardware store then finding more than three uses. : ) A thoughtful, inexpensive gift for your friend who is a jar hoarder, or to add to a cooking/baking/canning gift basket.I use canning jars for everything around the house; however, I don’t think I’d expect the lids to be watertight or to stay in place if I dropped a jar of soup. The silicone bottom slips off like a sock—I can clean them between uses without soaking/ruining the wood finish.I could see these used in the bathroom, too—half-pint and pint jars filled with Q-tips and flossers and cotton balls would be charming af, but quart jars of bath salts? So much better than the plastic bag. I might need to order more again.

Nice replacement lids for stuff that doesnt need to be fully sealed
Very nice for all those used Ball mason jars. Perfect to hold dry goods and candy in those jars. Or like I do, screws and such. Lids fit snugly with the gasket, and look nice.

    Look good & seal well.
These lids are great. They seal well & are more decorative if you plan on having jars out on counter, etc.

well-designed, not terribly pretty but real wood
Acacia wood is variable. The pictures are of handsome dark wood; mine are light and uninteresting, not as plain as bamboo or birch, but undistinguished. They are fairly smoothly turned, and the upturned lip is useful. They fit canning jars snugly and seem excellent for dry storage. Personally, I could do without the brand marking, but these were the cheapest I found and it’s actually a venerable brand of a fantastic surname in fairly elegant cursive script.

    Cute
The rubber gasket seems to not be tight in jars of any brand including Ball, is looser than I was hoping, but cute.

  6. Emmersup

    Impressed!
These are great! Came back to order more. They fit not only a wide mouth Ball/Mason jar, but also the decorative sunflower vintage glass canister set I got for our coffee station. They came with wood lids, but not nearly as nice, as these have a protective coating for easier cleanup and the Ball logo and a slimmer profile. They pop on and off with ease, but feel secure, and seem like they’ll for an airtight seal for keeping teabags and sugar packs fresh. They were more money for fewer lids at our local Wally. Win win win!

    Great for Ball jars
I like these for jars for dry goods- candy, pasta, tea bags, etc. I like the rustic look of the lids. Definitely not for liquids as it is only a press seal lid.

  8. Emily Barnett

    Pretty lid and functional
I have some canning jars that I store nuts and seeds in. These lids are so perfect for them. They fit really well with still being easy to take off. They look really pretty and expensive and really elevate the look of an old canning jar.

  9. John Hindle

As per description and fits perfectly. I most probably buy again, as it would be great for ingredients jars too. Definitely sold on this product! thank you

  10. Susan

I wanted some easy to use and store lids for my regular mason jars, for daily use not canning. These wash well and seal the jars without leaks. Very happy with them!
