Nice looking and functional.
Pretty cool. Some of the parts are delicate, so take your time. Read the directions carefully and if you get frustrated or impatient, take a break and come back to it later. I broke two pieces when I wasn’t being careful, still works. Looks good on a desk or a shelf. Took me a few hours to complete. The light is a soft glow, it’s not something you can use as a reading light or anything like that.

Fun and Great Build
This was given as a gift for a 17 year old with experience putting this kind of puzzle together. It took him about 4-5 hours to put together. The finished product is a nice model on the smaller side. The interior of the globe lights up which is a fun addition and could possibly be used as a night light.

Awesome, very very nice gift or project
Wonderful gift for yourself or others- if you/they like models, puzzles or Legos you will love this! Bought it for my adult daughter(33) that likes all the above and also loves to travel, she adored everything about it. Nice for anyone’s bookshelf a table night light etc . Hints for assembly: Use both hands to pop out pieces and wax when needed, and make sure everything is going in the correct direction. Experienced 3-4 hrs, novice 6 hrs to completion. If you are going to paint or stain do that before assembly and lightly sand everything before hand, if not painting or staining, I would suggest a nice wood oil-( linseed,Danish,Mineral,Tung etc) for wood conditioning & protection or a brush on wax . Also paint markers work well and so does stain markers.

It was a great puzzle, but several of the pieces broke off and I had to glue things together. It was a bit frustrating.

Disappointment
The concept is cool. My husband was super excited when I gave this to him as a gift. However, it ended with disappointment as pieces continued to break. He was unable to finish the globe because too many pieces were broken.

It is a good product, but some pieces are very fragile, you have to be extra carefully as some pieces may break
