Crates of Glory: A Love Story in Wood
I never thought I would fall in love with wooden crates, but here we are. These stacking nesting wonders have completely transformed my home and my heart. I ordered them for “storage” but now I’m seriously considering giving them names and inviting them to dinner.First of all, the stacking? Immaculate. I’ve stacked them high. I’ve stacked them low. I’ve stacked them sideways in a moment of creative chaos and they just rolled with it. They’re like the yoga instructors of the wooden crate world. Flexible. Centered. Probably better at life than I am.Then there’s the nesting feature. When not in use, they tuck neatly inside each other like little wooden Russian dolls who know the value of personal space. It’s magical. I almost cried when I first saw them do it. The way they fold into one another is smoother than my last relationship breakup. Way smoother, actually.Functionally? They hold everything. Books, plants, snacks, miscellaneous adulting clutter. I even put a cat in one. She gave me a look of pure judgment but also refused to get out, so I’m calling that a win.Aesthetically? Pinterest would weep. Rustic charm with a side of “I definitely have my life together” even when I don’t. They make my space look intentional. Like I’ve read interior design blogs and maybe even own a linen spray.Final verdict: These crates are the unsung heroes of home decor and emotional support. Would I buy them again? Yes. Would I build a tiny fort out of them and call it my sanctuary? Already did. Ten out of ten. No notes.

CORRECTION- the boxes are nailed. The nails are small and I did not see them initially. Also – these boxes are decorative – meaning they are not intended for use as storage.. I did have an issue with 3 of the larger boxes, which came with damages. After submitting photos, the shipper offered to rectify the issue -which is uncommon. So- I do need to re-evaluate my rating based on the “decorative nature of the boxes.” If the boxes were intended as storage. 1 star would be correct. But, since they are “decorative” – 3 Stars. ——-ORIGINAL —-One was broken during shipment and two others had loose slats. —-original review—So- silly me. I thought the boxes would have nailed together. These are glued. Upon arrival, the 2 larger boxes had the bottoms and several slats already unglued and loose. Not what I had expected.

These crates are absolutely gorgeous! The dark stain on the light wood brings out the grain on the beautifully. All of the 90 degree joint angled corners are well sanded and put together perfectly. There are no splinters or rough edges anywhere.I have to admit, these are far better than what I was expecting. They need to be displayed!They are held together with tiny finishing nails. Yes, there are minor, acceptable defects but they do not affect the appearance or quality in any way. There are handle openings on both sides of each of these crates. Again, they are well sanded and very clean.I can think of multiple uses for these beautiful crates! Holding guest towels and soaps in the bathroom, displaying jars of bulk goods on the counter or even holding toilet tissue rolls in the bathroom. They can be attached to a wall displaying small ornaments or dried flowers. So many uses!These crates do not look cheap. I have seen other crates in discount stores that are not worth putting on display. These beautiful crates are meant to be seen.A definite 5 stars from me!!

These wood crates have a really nice farmhouse-style look that would work great for a shop, a booth at a farmers market, or a home décor. I like that the wood has a pleasant natural wood scent. The nesting design is great for storage and transportation. I would be more keen to use these strictly for decorative purposes rather than for any sort of heavy duty hauling. They are also advertised specifically for decorative purposes anyhow.Likes:- Looks great.- Pleasant and mild natural wood scent.- Great variety of sizes.- Nest neatly.- Versatile.Dislikes:- Some edges and corners feel a bit sharp.- Minor detail, but a few crates had visible dried glue on the outer surface of corner pillars.

I have been wanting wooden crates like these for a very long time. I shied away from getting them for multiple reasons. Usually the ones I found in stores had splinters and rough edges and I would have needed to sand them down. Plus they were also very expensive.This five-piece set of decorative wood crates is an excellent value. I am very happy with them for organizing my pantry shelves.I was very impressed with the care that was taken into making sure these got to me safely and undamaged.Then I got to organizing my kitchen with them. At first I only meant to open them, but once I did I couldn’t stop myself from reorganizing my pantry! (And then most of my kitchen!) They are beautiful and well crafted. I am happy with them in every respect.Someone mentioned that they were too small, but they are a perfect variety of sizes. Plus all the sizes are in the ad, so just check that before you buy them to make sure it’s what you need. I only mention that because that negative review is not a valid reason to rate something this quality as one star, in my opinion.Personally, I like all the different sizes as it gives me options for organizing various things.The finish on them is beautiful and rustic, the construction of them is very well done with attention to detail, and I can’t think of anything that I don’t like about them. I would order more of these to replace some of the other bins on my pantry shelves.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ = I love it and/or it meets or exceeds claims.⭐⭐⭐⭐ = Hey, this is pretty great. Meets claims, but may be slightly lacking in non-critical area.⭐⭐⭐ = Meh. It’s okay but I don’t love it. Someone might like it. Falls short in a more noticeable area or not for everyone.⭐⭐ = Not great. Best to avoid. Very noticeable shortcomings or issues.⭐ = Nope. This is bad. Pretty good size variation and nicely stacked inside each other but the gaps between bars are wide so you can’t store smaller things in them.**Also the handles have sharp edges so you will have to sand them down.Edit: moved a crate with things in it and the bottom bar fell out. Not very well connected. Will be returning.
