Perfect for not needing an electrician to install
Ordered the 5 pack and installed in my kitchen under cabinets and in pantry/closet. Have had for 2 months now. I do not use the remote as these were pretty much “set it and forget it” for me. Set them to warm light mode.As under cabinet lighting, they are fantastic. Responsive as I walk into the kitchen, stay on long enough, and if not, a wave of the hand (or any movement) triggers them back on. I was delighted that my oldest suggested that one be installed in our pantry which is reliant on whatever light is cast by the ceiling mounted kitchen light. Illuminates the entire pantry! Simply opening the door triggers the light without having to have remembered to flip the ceiling switch on opposite wall.At night (which comes early this time of year in the North), we are able to simply able to walk into the kitchen and the lights turn on automatically. Open the pantry to root around for snacks and its light turns on automatically.For regular kitchen duties of cleaning or cooking, they certainly enhance the ceiling lighting for better visibility right where you’re working.On average, these have lasted 2 weeks before needing charging. That’s a kitchen in a house with two teenagers (repetitive visits to the kitchen every day, aaallllll day) too!For what these are, their price point, and the fact that no electrical wiring is required to install, they are a 5 star product.

Update: I still absolutely love these lights and now have 3 sets. I came back to order another set. Now concerning battery life: It is not as good as I had hoped. While the lights I have inside closets aren’t used very often, they are still functioning. But the lights that are on several times a day need to be charged at least once a week, if not more. Because the lights are attached with magnets, it is not difficult to take them down to charge. I just wish they lasted longer. The 4th set I am ordering today will go in my bottom kitchen cabinets. These lights have made my life so much “brighter”. :)I received these yesterday and couldn’t wait to put them up. After charging all of them, I put them under the cabinets in my kitchen, replacing old fluorescent fixtures that blew out bulbs yet again. These are absolutely wonderful! As soon as I walk into the kitchen, they come on and as long as I am in the kitchen, they stay on. And as soon as I leave, they turn off. Awe… no more fumbling for the button on the fluorescent lights, no more turning on the big overhead lights. I ordered 2 sets. I put the second set along the floor/wall of two hallways and two in a linen closet. I came back here to order another set that I plan to use in other cabinets. Open the door, and they come on!They came with a short USB cord for every light and two magnetic mounting strips for each as well. Just charge them, stick the magnetic strips on, and stick to wherever you want to put them. Easily detach them from the magnets to recharge.I can not attest to the battery life as of yet, as I just got them, but the motion detection is perfect, and they seem like good quality. The brightness will do just fine, and you can adjust the temperature of the light as well.An excellent purchase and investment in my opinion!

Great for the kitchen or bathroom
I have an older kitchen that has overhead lighting and very tall ceilings and was having difficulty seeing my counters well due to not enough light. These charge up fully very quickly and install so easily with sticky magnets. No need for tools at all. I set them for a soft rose colored light and to come on with the motion detectors. They are perfect. I can now walk into my kitchen and the lights go on automatically under each cabinet. I also installed one under my medicine cabinet above the sink in my bathroom and it is nice to walk in there at night and not have to turn on a bright light that hurts my sleepy eyes. I have only had to charge these about weekly as each holds about a week’s worth of power. They hold very tight to the magnets and do not let go until you pull them off. Well made and just what I needed.

Love them (quite a bit) but one listed feature doesn’t seem to work
Okay, these things are pretty freaking awesome! I have always wanted indirect lighting over a sink under a counter but always thought they were track lighting that needed to be installed professionally. I mean, I’m getting old, that’s just how it was done back in the day but not anymore. Installation was SIMPLE!The multiple brightness settings are handy (only 2 are accessible without the remote) and the three different white light shades are great, though we mainly use the blueish color in the kitchen because it’s super clean looking. Updating weeks later to point out that the blueish light is really bad for the eyes while the yellowish warm tint is quite relaxing to the retinal muscles, I have noticed this big time. The two I have in my bedroom are left on warm yellowish light. The motion detection is great as they do not come on when we walk by the kitchen but they do come on just as we pass the refrigerator heading toward the sink. If your hands are full and you’re setting something on the counter to turn on the main light, they come on automatically and you sometimes just don’t need to turn on the main light now that you can see fine with these. Twenty seconds or so after you leave the area, they simply shut off Weeks later update, with our use, they seem to last just over a week in battery charge. One of my lights in my room is close enough to my computer to just leave plugged in all the time and the one under the top of my bookshelf seems to last more than two weeks on a single charge.The reason for coming here to make the review though…The feature that says they won’t come on automatically in a fully lit room is false. Whether the main light is on or you’re even shining a flashlight directly into their sensor, they come on anyway. Not a complaint as I don’t care but that feature would have been really nice for some people. That is the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars.Still though, we LOVE these lights so far!I will include, in this update, a quick video of the double auto lights in the kitchen.

Arrived on time, well packaged and easy to install. Our closets were somewhat dark and our choice was to install assisted lights OR try the under cabinet lighting. Chose the latter and , VOILA, we have lights in the closets. Very reactive to movement so no waving your hands around to activate. The rechargeable aspect is a bonus. Haven’t had them long enough to determine life span before recharge. Satisfied completely!!
