Why don’t all napkin holders work this well?
I have had many napkin holders through the years, only to have the napkins sink down into the holder and have several pull out at once. That is over with now! This napkin holder works perfectly for me. The horizontal design holds them flat and the ‘arm’ is weighted and keeps them in place, while allowing you to pull the top one out while those under it stay in place. You can put a fairly large stack of napkins in it because the ‘arm’ apparatus extends with an adjustable height. I’m really loving how well-thought out it is. It does take up more space on the table because it is not the typical vertical holder that others are, and the design itself is utilitarian, but it still looks nice. I think I have purchased my last napkin holder.

Love the look
We have all stainless steel in our kitchen and I didn’t want a traditional standing holder where the napkins folded over or the ones that look like they are better suited for a picnic or other outside event. We definitely wanted something more contemporary and this fit the bill nicely. It is lightweight, yet sturdy at the same time. It is easy to just pull 1 napkin without the rest coming off. The only complaint I have is in order for the holder to lay properly, it needs to be full, actually overly full. If you just put a handful of napkins in there the holder becomes very flimsy so I try to keep it as full as possible, as often as possible. Other than that small issue, this was almost exactly what we were looking for and I would recommend this to others.

This functions great, it holds napkins and looks somewhat sophisticated doing so. My one grievance is that it does not hold an entire package of napkins at a time. I would estimate that it holds about 50 napkins before becoming over stuffed.

Really Works!
My 6 year old is responsible for putting out napkins at mealtime. One of the things he struggled with was getting napkins out of our old holder. He’d end up with a million napkins, or they’d be open and frustrating for him to fold.This fixed that problem entirely. He’s able to pull one at a time out without thinking! It’s stylish and really does hold a good amount of napkins. And if you only want to pull out one, you’ll only pull out one! I love it!
