Favorite Shabbat candles!
I have a wonderful travel shabbat candle holder that takes tea lights. I love it so much I use it every week. These beeswax tea-lights are perfect!

Typical candle, typical performance
These Giftellino 100% Beeswax Candles seem to perform as any other candle would. I guess what makes them special is they are made of beeswax but I honestly don’t know if this makes a candle superior to soy or regular wax type candles. They come in the same type tin as any other candle and burn in the same manner as well. The description says they will burn about 3 hours but I didn’t find this to be accurate. I’ve only burned 1 so far and it lasted about 2 hours. Of course the ceiling fan I have turned On constantly certainly doesn’t help the longevity and probably speeds up the burn time. The flame did remain constant in size the entire time and I wonder if I would’ve cut the wick to 1/4” as instructed if it would’ve burned longer. The fact it wasn’t trimmed didn’t seem to effect anything else and the only reason I know that a too long wick would cause problems is if it were too fall over into the melted wax and even then I think the flame would simply go out. These 48 tea light candles come is a nice, sturdy box and is suitable for gift giving but I think a box of tea lights to be a strange gift unless you’re also giving that person a candle holder, burner or some other item that incorporates tea lights in its function. These particular candles are a Product of Ukraine. I would’ve appreciated a scent but I realize many people don’t like scented candles.

Bright flame but 3 hours is a stretch
These burn nice and bright but the 3 I timed lasted 15-30 minutes less than the 3 hours claimed, perhaps because they burn brighter than the non-beeswax ones I have. They also tend to make little sputtering noises (but they don’t throw any wax or flame, so perfectly safe.)I like the bigger brighter flame and golden glow. At first, as seen in the first photo (white on the left, these on the right), it is because of the golden color of the wax. Later as the wax becomes a molten pool, I think it is more because they have a larger flame (second photo with green mercury glass.) As they mention, there is no smell. The box says Made in Ukraine, and I am very happy to support Ukraine. And beeswax is environmentally better than petroleum base candles.I plan to use these on the dinner table. Since I don’t serve 5 course meals 2.5 hours is long enough! But for around the house during parties, I’ll look for candles with a longer burn time, or maybe use votives instead.

These Are Great So Far
Some tealights made with beeswax don’t burn all of the way down. They tend to leave a lot of wax behind. I got these to experiment with them.HOW THESE COMEThese come in a nice box so you can keep them in there until ready to use.PERFORMANCESo far these have worked well. They light easily and the first few have burned almost all of the way down to the end of the wax. Anything left, I can scrape out and make another small tealight. They burn clean and bright and I have been able to use them more than once as in relighting them.THE BOTTOM LINEI love beeswax candles. They are a nice burning wax that lasts longer but have a nice scent to them as well.MY RATINGFIVE STARS. I would buy these again. They are performing quite well. They burn longer and have a nicer feel to them than the white tea lights so often sold.

These are fantastic! Burn perfectly, wicks are quality and the right length.

They seemed to work well at first but at least a half to a third of the lights don’t melt completely. The wick just stops absorbing the wax and it burns out. Makes me sad.
