Great product
I absolutely love this! Challenging enough for the minor details, but also fun. I really enjoyed putting it together. Very simple, easy to follow instructions and details. Very beautiful end result.Few things to note that you will need for proper assembly (see photo):Glue: I used fabric glue and regular glue stick. I prefer the fabric glue because it’s thick enough not to run (like the super glue). The glue stick that kids use at school was great for assembling the books and papers for the desk.Scissors: cutting the books covers out. Unless you have a really fine paper cutter. This took a lot if time.I recommend keeping the wooden book pieces as a whole and glue the books covers cover one at a time and snapping them off once the paper is glued on. I found it was easier this wayWood marker: I used this to color in the attachment edges. When the pieces snap off, they have a different color where they were attached to the wood sheets. This way the color is the same actoss the edges. Not necessary for most of the pieces, but may look nicer.Tape. Use clear tape to keep the light cord in place. They did provide some sticker tape, but wasn’t sure where I was supposed to use this.AAA batteries are needed and not included.I recommend this product. It was fun to build and beautiful finished product.

Great kit for teens!
Great purchase! Was looking for an activity for my 15 year old 10th grader that has grown out of Legos (or, the sets that would be challenging enough are super expensive). This was a great gift! Easy enough for her to build on her own but challenging enough that it takes a good bit of time to do. The quality of the kit, including the instructions were better than I expected. So glad I purchased this!

best instructions for any product i’ve read in prob 10 yrs. pieces are laser cut, high quality and snap out easily, no broken pieces. glue is NOT included and really should be. specific location for all lighting not indicated, but that can be changed per your own discretion. it’s a great piece for keeping or giving. it would have been nice to have all pieces laser cut instead of stickers for some. took me 7 hrs, never put one together before. would recommend.

Built a full wall floor to ceiling bookcase for my wife who owns literally about 1000 books and loves her coffee. I though this would be a great accent piece to the book shelf. I ordered this a week before having my wisdom teeth removed and spent the two days building it. It is very sturdy and easy to put together. The touch light is a fantastic little feature that brings the whole thing to life. Great little project that creates a beautiful accent piece.

Great hobby kit!
This was very enjoyable to do. The final product looked great! It was a fun hobby to do during the winter break.Warnings: Glue is needed but not included. I would recommend an x-acto knife to help get the pieces out of their wood sheets. Definitely not for the impatient.

Cute, but frustrating
Definitely a cute addition to anyone’s book nook collection – however, there are some cons that were a little frustrating. The overall assembly was pretty standard with snapping pieces together and adhering others, but no glue or adhesive strips included. A miniature I recently assembled from another brand included adhesive strips which were a lot easier to work with compared to glue. The instructions were also annoying at times, typically at critical junctures where things got technical or very detailed. Just too much reliance solely on imagery with little to no written instruction.The assembly process could also be reworked on this. I thought several times th throughout the process that there should have been a different flow to the steps because certain parts of the build would be in the way of securing something and would often result in pieces popping loose. This was extremely apparent with the front wall pieces. The construction concept isn’t great and the number of times I had to take apart certain things just to get the wall snapped back into place – particularly at the end with the wiring and getting the side ceiling and sidewall into place – had me ready to throw the whole thing across the room. Also, a lot of wiring having to be hidden through the same small spaces was frustrating, especially after working with other miniatures that run the wires though 2 or 3 areas for a more organized, seamless process.The plastic pieces for the windows would work better if they werent as stiff. For the curved portion to the right of the door, the plastic doesn’t stay in place, even after super glue. Too rigid.Also, really counter-intuitive to have stickers that you don’t actually stick to things using the sticky side, but are supposed to glue to something using the front of the sticker….just dumb.Pros: lots of cool details. Love that the side opens and makes it more interactive than other miniatures. The touch feature to turn the lights on was a really smart feature, elimates the need to access the battery pack, so much more user friendly. A lot of 3d features that add depth to the miniature. I love that the front door actually opens and closes rather than remaining stationary.Overall, the miniature looks good and will be easy to handle to turn on and off, but if I had to make a purchase decision again based off of the full process, I would look for something else.

I love these kits because they are doable within a couple of days and look so effective on display. My 11 year old completed this one with minimal assistance in 2 days. The quality of the printed pieces is excellent. My only criticism would be that they are a quick build for the cost.

It was very professional kit. I bought it for my husband and he loves it. Just one thing it hasn’t any glue and he said it would be better it had a glue he boyght it hismself. Anyway it doesn’t deduct its value and it is a great hobby and worth it.

I really enjoyed building this kit. The musical theme was what sold me and the little instruments so so cute and “realistic”. The instructions were very clear, the light kit was easy to install. The pieces were solid, yet not too difficult to punch out. There were some extra pieces which I did use. The only issue I had was the entire board K was misprinted so I reached out to Cutebee customer service, who shipped me the board at no cost. I did have to use glue for some pieces that were not on too tightly, and I used double sided tape strips for all the plastic pieces. The end result was amazing.
