Gorgeous, HELPFUL, absorb tons of H20 without any reaching surfaces underneath, I am AMAZED.
I live on a HOT tropical island and have been using a dishcloth on a plate to protect surfaces bc I drink h20, all day.I am thrilled to have stumbled upon these gorgeous coasters which miraculously absorb mountains of water.So far, not a drop has reached the granite and wood surfaces underneath.They look WAY better and I’m grateful and amazed.HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Dorai makes the best products, hands down. Don’t waste your money on cheaper lookalikes—they might resemble the real thing, but they absolutely don’t perform the same. Yes, Dorai is pricey, but it’s made from actual moisture-absorbing minerals (not just stone), and you get what you pay for.If you’re here reading reviews, you’re probably doing what I did…trying to talk yourself out of spending this much on coasters. I get it. I wanted to know if they were actually worth the hype too, and now I own almost everything Dorai makes. These coasters especially? 100% worth it.Every other type I’ve tried has disappointed. Felt coasters look cute at first but soak through, start to smell, and end up fraying. Stone or granite ones that aren’t this specific mineral blend just collect condensation and leave rings on the table. I had to constantly shake them off. And those plastic or acrylic ones with borders? They trap liquid, so the moment you pick up your drink, it splashes onto your lap.These Dorai coasters do exactly what they claim: they absorb moisture quickly and leave no mess behind. I started with a set for my bedroom and now I’m planning to order more for the rest of the house. If you’re on the fence…this is your sign.

Good looking, fair function, pricey for value
I bought 2 sets (8 total) of the slate coasters. They are light weight and I like that they are all slightly different shapes (4 different shapes in a set). The quick dry function is there. I’ve found they stain easily, but can hand wash them and the stain, usually coffee or milk, comes out with a bit of soap and a good brush. I got them on sale for 30/set. I like them, but would go with something cheaper if in the market again.

Great Coasters!
These are great! I wanted non toxic coasters and these are perfect. They are lightweight and absorb the water perfectly. I love how simple they are and they really fit in with the vibe of our home. They are a little pricey but in my opinion it’s totally worth it. I love these!

My favorite thing to gift
I know coasters are such a common gift item and seem thoughtless but these coasters are so great! You can tell just from opening them that they absorb liquid so well. I love that they even came with a small piece of sandpaper so you can keep them in good condition. The organic shape is really nice and will look good in any home. I do think they are a little pricey but worth it!

High maintenance
I really love the look of these and they do absorb water well, but they stain super easily—sometimes even just from condensation. The stains don’t wash out, so I’ve been sanding them down to keep them looking clean (which thankfully works). Still, they’re a lot of work if you want them to stay nice. I have a bath mat made of what seems like the same material, but it doesn’t have this issue—it’s dark gray, so maybe the color makes a difference. Either way, just know these are high maintenance.

I thought these coasters looked really nice and had to justify paying 4x the price to get them. It’s true they dry quickly. However stains from drinks are extremely if not impossible to remove so you can’t clean them and then they look ugly and cheap. I would choose something else.
