NEW UPDATE & CORRECTION
UPDATE AND CORRECTION, 6 JULY 2025: I in the review below, and its two stars, I stated that the insides of the jars were coated with a substance to give them an amber color. I was wrong–they are amber glass all the way through, and I no longer have concerns about edibles in the jars, at least from any coating.They remain un-stackable without support, and unhandy for me, but I have revised my rating to reflect that there is no unknown coating to make them dangerous.I store instant coffee + additions in these–and similar small jars. I had high hopes for uniformity in my collection, as I leave them out on a counter, but other issues put me off. The amber glass is, alas, a coating inside the jar, not the color of the glass, and there is zero information on what that coating is. In addition, they do not stack, if that is important to you. If you try, you will hear a Clunk! every so often through the day as any vibration will slide one off. And finally, finely powered substances, like Benefiber, do not like to come out of the bottles. Static, possibly? The coating, possibly?They look nice, hold stuff, occlude some light, and don’t break when they fall from the stack, but I’m wiser now and still looking.
