Fun, responsive, and packed with color—would love to see a bigger version!
This lamp is just cool—no other way to put it. From the moment I plugged it in, the setup was seamless through the Govee app, and it instantly synced with Alexa. The color options and preset effects are vibrant and dynamic, and the touch controls are smooth and intuitive.Whether it’s mood lighting at night or some ambient color during work or gaming sessions, this little lamp does a fantastic job. It’s compact, stylish, and doesn’t feel like a “cheap smart light.” The RGBIC effects are fluid, and the customization through the app offers tons of room to personalize it.The only thing I’d add isn’t really a complaint—just a wish. If Govee made a larger version, even bigger than the one with the built-in JBL speaker, it would be a grand slam. As it stands, this one is already a home run.Highly recommended if you want a stylish smart lamp with rich lighting features that just works.

This is a lot of fun and a great value
I got this on Black Friday. I think it’s so fun. I went to download the app but you do have to be very quick with that so I had my son do it. Once the app is installed it’s very easy to use there are so many different options for timers setting schedules colors everything you can imagine you can dim this you can brighten it. It can get very bright it can get very dim. I love the quality of it I’m happy I paid the money for it and I would recommend it to anyone it’s very cool

Such a nice little light.
Love this light. The illumination is very nice and there are tons of great built-in scenes and modes. So many relaxing and chill and fun options. I wish there was a better solution for the cord (something less visible) but not a huge deal. Very versatile too, works well as a regular white light room lamp in addition to all the color scenes. May be my new favorite Govee product (i have just about all of them too).

Great product for multiple uses
This lamp is super fun, does not take a lot of space and the regular light is more than enough for a nightstand. The apps works perfectly fine it uses Bluetooth and Wifi. Bluetooth when you are closer to it so that it responds faster. It is a high quality lamp and it looks like it will last a couple of years. Totally recommend for kids, gaming rooms or just for a place with multiple uses like a room for reading and partying.

Have couple of Govee RGBIC Smart Table Lamp.- Gives 500 lumens and vibrant colors with over 64 preset scenes, making it great for both ambient and functional lighting- Offers warm-cool whites from ~2700 K to 6500 K plus a “Finger Sketch” style creative mode in the app to design effects- Built-in mic syncs lighting to music with multiple modes, enhancing parties or mood lighting sessions- Works with Alexa, Google Assistant, and Matter-enabled platforms (including HomeKit), making it easy to integrate into many smart ecosystems- Convenient Pat‑to‑Wake feature.- Build quality feels sturdy.- Installation process was straightforward, with easy-to-follow instructions.Important Tip: Govee devices automatically connect to “distributed gateway” nodes within the Govee App (an internal network for Govee devices), which can impact your Wi-Fi performance. To avoid network slowdowns, try to limit number of connected devices using App.

this is genuinely one of the coolest lights i have ever seen, and one of my fav things to play with. it’s so fun to create new lighting combos in the app and explore/try everyone else’s creations. it’s easy to use, lightweight, high quality, and great value for the price. it also serves perfectly in such a wide variety of settings. i’d easily recommend it to anyone.

Good lamp easy installation
Very nice lamp that adds to my Govee light collection. Easy to add to existing network with Alexa and Govee button. Is very bright as well. Govee is the only third party lights that work flawlessly with Alexa and don’t constantly fall off the network.

Update: Govee reached out to me and worked with me to solve the issues I was having. Now the light is bright and the Matter connection is reliable! Great company with great customer service. If you run into issues with Govee products, I would encourage you to reach out to these guys. They care about their customers and their products. Because of this experience, I will be buying more Govee products in the future!The design and build quality of the Ovee RGBIC Smart Table Lamp 2 are genuinely impressive. It feels solid, looks great on a nightstand or desk, and has a modern aesthetic that easily fits into a bedroom or living room. The touch controls are responsive, and the lamp itself seems well-constructed.Unfortunately, the performance doesn’t live up to the hardware. The colors all run extremely cold, even when choosing warmer presets. Instead of cozy ambient light, everything skews blue or harsh which makes it difficult to use as a relaxing bedside lamp. The 64 scene modes look nice in theory, but the color temperature issue undermines their usefulness.The other problem is the Matter connection, which has been very unreliable. It drops from my smart home setup frequently, sometimes refuses to reconnect without a reset, and doesn’t behave consistently with Homekit. For a lamp marketed as smart-home friendly, the instability is frustrating.Overall, the lamp has potential thanks to its excellent physical design, but the cold color profile and flaky connectivity make it hard to recommend at this price.

This little Govee table lamp is the coolest lighting device I’ve ever owned. I’m serious, this thing adds so much to my room. It’s small, so it can be put almost anywhere, it’s VERY bright, and it has so many colour options and modes.I love keeping this light on before I go to sleep. It emits more than enough light to let me see my books, and I can make sure that it’s a nice warm colour to keep me calm. When I’m awake throughout the day, I usually keep the light on the “Dreamlike” scene (an included mode on the Govee app).I got this light on sale, and I’m so very glad that I found it when I did. Even without it being on sale, the price is fair and reasonable. I don’t regret a thing with this light, and I would definitely recommend this guy if you’re looking to spruce up your environment a little, or have a nice, aesthetic lighting piece to use when you read like I do.

We’re definitely a Govee household, and this table lamp didn’t disappoint — it’s a great addition to the lineup. Everything is controlled through the Govee app, which is incredibly easy to use and makes switching scenes or adjusting settings effortless. The preset modes are fun and surprisingly polished, and I’m genuinely amazed at how bright it can get when you want full room light. The solid colours and whites look clean and consistent, and the dimming and speed controls let you fine-tune the atmosphere in a really satisfying way. It’s easy to be a Govee lighting family, and this lamp adds atmosphere you didn’t even know you needed in your home. Love, love, love it.
