The placemat will have some natural grass smell, put it in a ventilated place, the smell will slowly disappear.Because of the packing and shipping, the tassel might not in a perfect shape,please remove the protective thread on tassel(as we showed on video) before using it,or if you want it as tidy and nice as possible,you could comb and iron the tassel to help it looks tidy and nice.

Cleaning Advice

The tassel section will have a protective thread(might be red/green or white) which is made to protect the tassel from getting tangled in transit, please remove the thread before using. Of course,if you want it as tidy and nice as possible,you could comb and iron the tassel to help it looks tidy and nice.

Woven mats were attractive but small. The cloth fabric is just did not seem like it would wash or wear for daily use. Would not by again. Returned item.
