Update review… 7 years later9/17/2020 update – We liked the first one so much that I had purchased 7 more of these shortly after my original review… I still have 6 out of the 8 and they are still AMAZING.The 2 I no longer have is because they were being used for transporting heavy things for too long and their handles broke. I still get compliments on the ones I have left; they are used for family laundry hauling and toy storage.Original review 9/23/2013PRACTICALITY:- This product is way durable- I bought this as a laundry basket for my toddler; his clothes don’t need such a large hamper.- We bought it for him when he was 15 months old and he has been able to carry it around from day one (that speaks to the light weight-ness of this product).APPEAL:- The coloring of this bin’s fabric is not solid… which I like because the subtle blend of colors allows it to mingle nicely with my son’s cherry wood furniture.- The inside is not as aesthetically pleasing as the outside so I’m glad I didn’t order it as a decorative piece.OTHER:- I wish it had a larger twin somewhere so we could order one for our own laundry too!

Great Shoe Bin—but how long will it last?
I was looking for a bin that would function as a decorative shoe container for the entryway to my home and I saw this product and read from one of the reviews that it worked well for that purpose. Still, it was a bit of a gamble all the same. I looked at the measurements of the product (medium size) and thought it seemed kind of small for my needs, but I decided to give it a shot and I am so happy I did.This was perfect. It fits cozily in the corner of my entry way. My kids no longer throw their shoes everywhere!!! It fits many more shoes than I expected from the measurements. The wood handles and fabric exterior give it a nice look, but the interior wire frame appear durable to withstand constant use.****UPDATE****It’s been almost a year since I bought this item and have been using this bin for shoes in that time. I was pleased with it; however, it’s durability has come into question. One of the wooden handles shattered and I barely ever move the bin. I must say I am disappointed and I reduced my 5 star rating to a 4 star rating for this reason.

Very sturdy, and much larger than I thought it would be. In reading the reviews I decided to go up in size. Probably shouldn’t have done that. But I will make it work. Bought this basket to make a “bridal coffee basket” because it is so large, I need to go back to the store and purchase more K cups and butter cookies to fill it up! Very well made, the handles are cute. At this price, I will be ordering me some for my laundry room and bathrooms.

Perfect toy bin
I bought this bin because my 11 month old daughter discovered the fun of filling a box and emptying out the toys. The toy bin I had was wood and was getting splinters everywhere. Obviously that’s a bad thing with a child who puts everything in her mouth. So after some research, I bought this bin.It is fantastic. It holds quite a lot of toys and is attractive. The metal framing is sturdy enough that my daughter can brace herself on it while she digs for the toys. I even put her in it and piled the toys on top of her, and she fit and had plenty of room (and she’s a big girl)!My husband was shocked when he remarked on how nice it was and I told him that it was only $14. He said he thought it would be twice that much from how nice it looks. I highly recommend this bin!

Perfect Living Room Toddler Toy Storage!!!
I ordered 3 of these wonderful bins after shopping several stores for bins that would provide stylish and discreet storage for my son’s toys in the living room and simultaneously withstand the use and abuse of a toddler. These bins are outstanding for our intended purpose. They hold up steadily packed with toys, are lightweight enough for my toddler to pull out from the bottom shelf of our wooden console, the metal frame stands up to his 22 lb. frame leaning over the sides, and I foresee these lasting much longer than many of the collapsible bins or woven basket alternatives. The linen is a tad lighter than this picture not such a dark espresso; however I am pleased with the color.
