Bluetooth Pairing Instructions:
Turn on your Bluetooth device and make it ‘discoverable’ by turning on Bluetooth mode.
• When the unit is ON, press the Mode Button on the iBT29BX until the ‘BT’ icon appears on the display.
• Press and hold the Bluetooth Pairing Button on the back of the unit for 2 seconds.
• Select ‘iHome iBT29’ on your device’s Bluetooth menu to connect!
• Press the Play/Pause/Presets Button and the – or + Buttons to play, pause, and navigate tracks.
• Press the or Buttons to adjust the volume on the unit. You may need to adjust the volume on your device, too.
Setting the Alarms: This unit features dual alarms which can be set to different times and alarm sources. Each is set in the same way. Instructions are given as “Alarm Button”; use Alarm 1 or Alarm 2 to set respective alarms. Each step must be completed while display is flashing or setting will time-out.
1. Press and hold the Alarm Button for 2 seconds until the alarm time display and alarm icon flash. A beep sounds.
2. Press the – or + Buttons to adjust the alarm time to the desired time (hold for rapid setting).
Make sure you set the correct AM/PM alarm time. The AM and PM indicators appear to the left of the display.
3. Press the Alarm Button to confirm the alarm time setting. The wake-to source will flash.
4. Press the – or + Buttons to select the desired wake-to alarm source: Bluetooth, FM radio or tone:
Wake to Bluetooth: Wake to the currently linked Bluetooth device. If no device is detected, the alarm will default to tones.
Wake to FM radio: Press the Alarm Button to confirm. Press the Presets Button to select an FM preset to wake to, or press the – or +
Buttons to select a station.
Wake to Tone: Press the Alarm Button to confirm. Press the – or + Buttons to select a wake-to tone (Tone 1 -Tone 4). Scroll down to continue instructions…

5. Press the Alarm Button to confirm wake-to source.
6. Press the – or + Buttons to adjust the alarm volume.
7. Press the Alarm Button to confirm alarm volume and enter wake-to light selection.
8. Press the – or + Buttons to select the desired wake-to light mode: Slow fade, Fast Change, One Color (selects current color), Pulse to
Music, Sky Gradient or Off (no change to light mode that is active when alarm sounds).
9. Press the Alarm Button to confirm the alarm settings and exit alarm setting mode. 2 beeps will confirm alarm setting is complete. The
alarm icon will remain on the display, indicating the alarm is armed.
10. To turn off a sounding alarm and reset it to come on the next day at the same time, press the Power/Alarm Reset Button or the
associated alarm button (Alarm 1 Button or Alarm 2 Button). Press the desired Alarm Button to preview the alarm time and to turn the
alarm ON (alarm icon on display) or OFF (no alarm icon).

Cute alarm clock with lighting
It’s a great little ambiance light, you can change how bright it is and the colors too. The brightest setting isn’t too bright so it’s great if you want some light at night. I like that it also doubles as an alarm clock and speaker. I had one as a gift about 10 years ago but it broke about 3 years ago and just recently got this replacement. I’m very happy with it. It’s not that heavy and easy to use.

Worked for 6 years & going (with a few issues)
Had this device for about 6 years now. It’s perfect as a room clock, a radio, and a color changing light, but not an alarm clock that suites my needs.The device only allows for 2 alarms, either to repeat for weekday, weekends, or ever day. Unfortunately I need wakeup alarms for different times at different days, so I’ve been sticking to my phone alarms for the past 5 years. It’s great that you can add any combo of alarm volume, lights, and sounds to each alarm, but as the yeas passed, I tend to stick with the basic alarm at half volume because it’s stupidly loud.The device’s internal battery died long ago, and without it plugged in, it won’t work. The brightness of the clock has also started to fade in the past few years (when my room is lit up on a sunny day, the digital clock is barely visible). Some of the rgb light modes also started to have issues in the past 2-3 years as they’ll stay a solid color & don’t change.It’s a pretty solid, the changing of the time is relatively fast (for daylight savings hours); the radio has all the usual channels, unfortunately it doesn’t have am; I like that it has an extra usb port so I can charge my phone through it; the speaker is decent.Otherwise, I would like to have the battery be rechargeable (as it’s plugged in), & to have the multiple rgb light modes be dimmable.

Nice to have product
Using this product for couple of month. Amazing product, It works as expected. I bought this especially to listen music via bluetooth. It works fine (very rarely bluetooth disconnects once or two in last two month usage). I rarely used the color changing mode but it works fine till now.I will throw some light on few doubtful areas.1. Bluetooth pairing is fast and safe. Safe means, during bluetooth pairing setup we have to confirm the pairing using button press hence no unknown device will be paired.1.a At the same time, we don’t have a clear option to flush/remove already registered bluetooth device(s) in the clock1.b No cross connection till now2. Sound quality is good3. Multi purpose button but once understood the basics we can do the rest. Quite tough for some users.Cons:1. Radio wire is not protected properly2. Device requires power all the time to show the clock in the device (Not portable or carrying).2.a Battery is used to tick the clock internally, store some settings and to ring Alarm.2.b Even the device is not powered don’t assume it won’t trigger Alarm, still Alarm will function properly.3. No backlight for buttons. This is really required atleast when we try to stop Alarm. We have to search for the button to stop the Alarm (If you find the button, you will really woke up ;-))

Very Poor Quality
I am an excellent reviewer because I don’t place a review until I have used the product for at least 6 months. This gives buyers a realistic review of what to expect with any product.I bought two of these units for my two children 9 months ago. One unit just does not work. I kept shutting the alarm off, but it goes back on and rings at 6am in the morning, every morning. I unplugged the cord one month ago and the lights are off and there appears to be no power to the unit, but the alarm still beeps at 6am every morning. That means it must have a great battery life because the alarm cannot go off without power for over 1 month! I don’t get it and I don’t know what to do with that unit that does not work. This unit is sitting in my son’s closet on the floor and he is back to using his iphone for music, clock and alarm.The other unit does work. The clock keeps time and the colors are soothing, but my daughter does not use it for an alarm clock because she said it was too complicated to set the alarm, change it for different days and turn it off on the weekend. I told her she must be crazy, so I tried to change alarm times and turn on and off without reading the manual. I could not do it without reading the manual and I consider myself a technology guy. The speaker on both units are very low quality and not as good as the speakers on my kids’ iphones, so they don’t listen to music using the clock speakers. So my daughter also uses her iphone for music, clock and alarm.This clock radio has poor sound quality, not terrible or fuzzy, just not as good as any late cell phone’s external speakers. The durability is poor. And it is not easy to use at all.It definitely was not worth buying these clocks.

I’m quite pleased with this alarm clock. It’s not overly humongous, and the display is the perfect size. It has dual alarms which allow you to wake to a tone, radio, Bluetooth. You can set the waking volume and brightness of light as well. The sound is pretty good for its size, I don’t find it overly tinny. FM reception is good. I do wish it had AM, but that seems to be an outdated feature. I love the colourful lights on this clock, they look wonderful in a dark room. I think it’s great that they can be dimmed or completely turned off. They can also be set to different transitions or to a singular colour. There is also a battery backup on this clock as well. You can connect to it using Bluetooth, you can accept calls. There is also a supplied audio cable for auxiliary input. It also has USB charging to your phone. Overall, I’m happy I bought it. I found it really easy to set up, and it’s stylish enough without looking like an ultra modern spaceship thing on my bedside table.
