2025 Review Update: I now have been using this light for over 2 years straight purchased in March of 2023. It is one of the best inexpensive investments I have ever made. It lights up the entire back yard and when I say entire I mean like a couple of acres pretty well. It allows me to walk the dogs at night without the need for a flashlight. If you want a reliable light that just works. Then this is an excellent choice. I’m actually ordering another one today because of the reliability and quality. Not sure what the other folks have had for issues with it but I have not had any issues at all. I do occasionally need to wipe off the motion sensor in order for it to keep working properly but we have a lot of pollen in VT. and we live on a road where there is a lot of dust that blows around as well. So the combination of those things affects sensors and what not but no big issue to wipe it down every few months to keep it working properly. Some of the other concerns posted in reviews baffle me based upon my excellent experience with the item. I suppose it is possible to get a defective item from time to time but with Amazon you can always send it back and get a new one.2023 Review – I purchased this to light up the back yard so when I take the dogs out for a walk at night I would have a decent light to see the majority of my backyard area. I never expected this light to be so bright you don’t want to look straight at it. This thing works so well it not only lights up the backyard but lights up the entire side upper field next to my lower yard. The sensor is aimed right covers a very long distance and since we also run a business and even though we have cameras that are superior with night vision this thing makes the entire yard look like broad daylight. So not only would anyone trespassing be caught on camera but they would be lit up as though walking into the yard like the sun is shining on them. I honestly cannot believe just how much light this thing puts out. It is everything I was hoping for and more. Love the 3 settings that give me the option of it being on only when I want it on and for how long I want it to stay on as well.

Perfect For Our Needs
This flood light was literally the perfect solution to my problem. We recently had a new garage door opener installed and we sadly realized that the new opener didn’t have a motion detecting light like our old unit had. Our garage is pretty full with “stuff” (kids junk) and attempting to walk through the garage in the dark is a recipe for disaster. So out exact scenario is when someone in the family comes home at night and the garage door is up/open. Without the motion light of the old unit, you’re taking a risk trying to walk through the garage in the dark. Hence this flood light. We mounted the light in the far wall of the garage facing the main door. The motion sensitivity is set so that the light will come on as you approach the garage. The light is very bright and provides more than enough coverage for our two car garage. What’s great is that we can set the light to ONLY work in the dark. So, the light doesn’t come on when it detects light. That’s awesome because if we come home at night and open the garage door, the garage door opener’s overhead light makes it so that the flood light does not go off. This makes it so we aren’t wasting electricity. The flood light only comes on in those situations when our garage is left open and it’s dark outside.

Great Motion Flood Light
Works great Outdoors but I bought it for a Basement Storage area that had no lighting. Perfect for what I needed. Well made and very bright with a wide array of adjustments. Controls are easy to use with a lot of options! It has to have an outlet for power nearby and easy to mount. Should last a long time for what I need it for!

Good Overall Product – Works as Advertised
Receive this light in good packaging.Very Bright Light as soon as its plugged inOne customer said that the center light is is behind the sensor….this was for packaging purposes…you can take a screw driver and unscrew the center slowly until it becomes loose and then tighten back in place when you get the perfect groove and height that you desire. You do not have to force it.Another Customer also said it can only mount with the sensor at the top ONLY…This is also incorrect, The way to mount this is with the sensor below…..and then you will have access to the knobs and can place sensor at whatever angle you wantThe time for the sensor starts from secs to minutes….I have mines on 2 minutes and it works well….I believe it starts at 15 secs and goes up to 7 mins……I will not give it 5 stars because the Motion detection is not as sensitive as I would prefer….Seems the object has to get really close before the light comes on even at full sensitivity….Power cord is also tooo short…..

Lasted one night, not IP65 rated
I needed a replacement motion sensing flood light for my backyard. The first day that I installed, which was quite simple. First night it worked fine, I did some adjustments to the sensitivity and timing. Light was nice and bright and good for my 1 acre property, backyard portion anyway. Today we had rain here in Florida, and I wasn’t worried since this is supposed to be rated as IP65 water proof or whatever. Well that seems not to be true. Went outside with my dogs, and there was no light. Went to check if it was power, and it was. I got my dogs back inside and went to check the light. As you can see in my photo, a good amount of water has gotten inside the motion sensor unit! after only one 10 minute rain storm. This is a complete failure in my eyes. And I am complete unhappy with this product. Shoppers beware. I will be contacting the seller and will update this review after experiencing customer support.

Brighter than I thought
Bought 2 of these for our driveway and barn area. I love the long timer for us because we sometimes take time to unload our vehicle in the dark. One light lights up the entire front yard. I positioned one facing the house and barn. I placed the other facing driveway and carport. Our family isn’t creeped out coming home in the dark anymore. Strong and waterproof through harsh winters for 2 years now. Great light for cost.long heavy cord. Easy to set up and adjust timer

Really happy with this light. Easy installation. Makes pee trips at night for my dog easier when she insists on sniffy the entire property. The light reaches the edge of my property. (Approximately a quarter acre from the light to the edge of the property). It’s sensitive to motion. I’m not sure if it’s adjustable. I haven’t tried to change it because I’m happy with it as is. Would purchase again.Only note would be that we chose to use longer screws as the ones included were pretty short.
