Absolutely beautiful
I love this brand. I will forever buy this brand because they are quality pieces for a great price. The color & design are gorgeous. The rug is the perfect thickness. It vacuums well. I scotchgarded this one for the first time, so we’ll if that helps with dogs & kids, but I can easily spot clean it otherwise.

Still in good shape after two years
This rug looks good and is holding up through a lot of traffic. It lays flat and does not roll, it is also soft on bare feet. I would buy it again if I needed another round rug. Purchased two years ago and still in good shape.

Love this rug!
I needed a rug for a nursery, and I didn’t want to spend a fortune. I’ve had other Safavieh rugs before and liked how they held up, so when I saw this one for a really great price, I grabbed it. I read all the reviews, some of which talk about “color bleeding” or ink dropped on the edges, and I still decided to take a chance. When I unrolled the rug, it was very evident that what some thought was a defect was, in fact, part of the background pattern. The darker “drips” around the edge match the same kind of pattern throughout the cream color on the body of the rug. If you are going to be bothered that it’s not completely solid around the border, you may want to keep scrolling, but I can tell you that everyone who has walked into the room said the rug was beautiful, and no one asked if anything was spilled or defective. With a 1/4” rug pad, it feels nice and thick to walk on or for a baby learning to walk to fall on. It unrolled pretty quickly and started to feel flat within a week or so of just letting it be. One corner edge may not be perfectly straight and square, but for the price I paid for an 8×10 rug, I’m not complaining at all because unless you are really nitpicking it’s not noticeable.

I will start by saying I’ve purchased a few other Safavieh rugs from Amazon, and for the money I always feel I’m getting a good value. They are various sizes and materials, and they’ve always come well packaged (rolled up). This rug was the third try for my living room. I LOVE it. The others were not quite right in color, size, pattern etc. This one is absolutely perfect.I live in a third floor walk-up (no elevator), so it’s nice to have these giant 9×12 or 8×11 rugs delivered right to my door. Those that didn’t work out, I scheduled a UPS pickup for convenience.For those who have written that it has a smell – yes, it’s made of polyester people. It says right on the label that it will smell and that it will air out after a few days. Open a window! If you don’t want a smell or you’re overly senstitive, buy a cotton or wool rug. For those that say it doesn’t lie flat – yes, it’s been rolled up and vacuum sealed! It says right on the label that it will lie flat after a few days.Someone wrote a review on a 9×12 rug that you should “be prepared to wrestle it into submission”. Yes, I agree; I live alone and it was a bit of a struggle to get it into place. It is cumbersome and heavy. Once the wrestling was over, it was well worth the struggle, but call a friend maybe.The rug looks rich and expensive. It goes beautifully with my decor and furniture. The softness is wonderful under bare feet. For the price and the door to door service (and free shipping with Amazon Prime), you really can’t go wrong!
