A super quick way to add lighting to a kitchen
I was really assuming this would be difficult to install or take a long time, but it took less than five minutes. It solved the problem in part of my kitchen that I have not been able to solve in quite some time. It offers plenty of light, and the timer is clear and easy to use both with the remote and directly on the unit.The most important thing to know in my opinion is how this attaches to a surface. It has a small magnetic piece with an adhesive piece of backing that adheres to whatever you want the lamp to stick to. So you just clean the surface and dry it and then apply the magnetic piece. Then the light will stick to the surface relatively well. And I say relatively because I think they could’ve used a stronger magnet. It does stay in place, but I think an unfortunate shuffling of pans in the kitchen, could end up knocking it off pretty easily.I really like the design and the look of this light. I think it makes my kitchen look much more modern. But something I don’t like about the design is how disposable this light is. I very much do not like how modern electronics such as this don’t allow for replaceable lightbulbs. If this lamp had replaceable lightbulbs, I would probably buy three more of them right now. But for the time being, I’m just gonna have to wait and see how it holds out until I decide to buy more.The battery is a really nice touch. I appreciate that I can run out of battery or directly off of USB power. Gadgets like this make me feel more ready for my next power outage. It stays charged for a good amount of time, certainly long enough to disconnect for an evening or two. I have my light plugged into a fast charger and it seems to charge at the same rate as it does plugged into a regular charger.The remote is a nice touch, I actually prefer to use the remote because the magnetism is so light on the backing, I feel like the pressing the buttons on the actual unit may cause it to fall. The remote does not have a huge range. If I am outside of the kitchen, too far, it doesn’t seem to respond to the remote commands. On this light, I think I would actually prefer to have Wi-Fi or Bluetooth functionality.The timer is easy to operate on both the actual unit or with the remote. The LCD display is easy to read and is actually quite useful. I have used the timer, but primarily with the remote.Apart from having him relatively mediocre, magnetic mounting, I do actually really like this light. If it had a better magnet, I would easily give it a five out of five stars. But because of the magnet, I’m gonna leave it at a 4.5 out of five stars.

Works as described but not super bright
Going to go ahead and give this four stars even though it’s not quite what I was looking for. There is an on-off button but it is also the button that switches between the color options so that makes it a three button push to turn it off and one button push to turn it on. Where I had intended to use this was in my kitchen, but the timer function is just not what I was looking for. I also thought that this would have a motion detection, but if it does I am not able to figure it out. The instructions were less than ideal. It does have a remote, but I hate trying to keep track of remotes so this is not something that I consider a plus. The color options are nice now that I’m using this above my desk, and the light quality for this purpose is sufficient. It would not be enough light for my kitchen in my opinion. The battery seems to be holding up well and it is nice that this is rechargeable. Overall I’m going to go ahead and give this four stars because it does work as described, but just be aware of it shortcomings before placing your order.Here’s my rating scale for products:1 Star: Do not buy. This item has serious flaws. I would never under any circumstances use again.2 Stars: Do not buy. Its usable at best, but you could easily find something better.3 Stars: Just ok. Buy if you can’t find an alternative. Some issues need to be addressed.4 Stars: Recommend purchase. Large, Bright Light – Perfect for a Dark Closet
I love this large, motion-sensing light. We have a coat closet with extra shelves tucked off to the side where we store our board games. The space is dark, and I had tried smaller under-cabinet lights, but they needed to be less than an inch from the door to work. This one is perfect for our needs.This rechargeable light is 2″ wide x 16″ long, and when installed, drops down 1.5″ from the shelf. It fit easily above the coat rod. We could still hang coats there, but we would need to be careful not to hit it too hard. You can rotate it to any angle you like, as it’s held in place by a strong magnet. The magnet is a flat, small rectangle that attaches to a metal surface, or if you have a shelf like we did, you’ll use the strong adhesive sticker that was supplied. I cleaned the surface with rubbing alcohol, let that dry, and then attached the magnet to the shelf and pressed firmly for about 20 seconds. I let it charge overnight before placing it on the magnet, which also gave the adhesive time to adhere fully.The light has many options: three dimmable color temperatures, three on/off modes, a timer function, and a memory feature. We only use it in the brightest, cool white mode with motion-sensing. The light is very bright! We haven’t had to recharge it yet, but we use the space infrequently. When we need to recharge, we’ll plug it into a charging brick (not included) using the provided USB-A to USB-C cord. The motion sensor is located on the lighted side. We were testing it before installing, and it wasn’t turning on because we had it sitting on the shelf. It makes sense, but it took us a minute to figure it out.I highly recommend this light. We installed it a week ago, and it has functioned flawlessly.
