Absorb moisture & don’t mildew. They stay put & don’t slide around.
They’re great! They’re thick & absorb moisture from glass or cup. They don’t mildew & warp the table like the cheap cardboard ones do. They don’t stick to the bottom of the glass/ cup. They dont slide around. I like the lip that keeps the glass/cup in place.

They serve their purpose but aren’t higher quality heavy cork.
These cork coasters serve their purpose. But they’re made with a type of cork that sheds a lot which makes them look cheap! Every time I use one I get tiny little dust particles (pictured) of cork all over my tables. The color isn’t as dark as the pictures look but that could be lighting. They’re very light not the heavy kind of cork. And being cork they stain easily if you get coffee or tea on them. You can fit regular size mugs on them but they aren’t big enough for my bigger mugs (as pictured). They work for not getting condensation & liquid stains on my tables but they’re not high a high quality cork but for the price they’re good enough. I think I may put resin on them to stop the shedding.

Great little cork coaster (cork is the best!)
Cork is a pleasingly flexible and spongy material, so it’s perfect for a coaster and superior to 95% of the coasters you’ll find out there since the material cushions impact and has a texture that helps your cup not slip around. I love using these in my home office. The size is perfect and they feel like they’ll last a long time

A Couple Of Potential Issues
I have used cork coasters before, and they are normally a pretty good option. I have some ceramic coasters, but they have seen much better days.Compared to cork coasters I have used in the past, these seem to have a denser and tighter pattern in the cork. I do think that the denser weave is not necessarily a good thing. Rather than soak into the cork, the liquids tend to pool on top of the coaster. They do have a nice lip that helps keep spills on the coaster, though. The real issue with the coaster is that, in spite of what the description says, cups with wet bottoms will stick to the coaster when you pick up the cup. I think this is due to the dense pattern of the cork. This helps the strength of the coaster, but keeps the liquid from absorbing.It also comes with a metal coaster holder that will keep all the coasters nice and neat when not being used. The one thing I do not like about the metal holder is that it has no rubber or plastic feet to keep the metal from potentially scratching up whatever surface it is sitting on. Depending on what you have the holder sitting on, this might not be an issue, but some type of protective feet would have been nice.The coasters function well and do a good job of keeping your wet cups off surfaces, but there is a trade-off of a couple of other potential issues. For what you are getting, the price is not bad at all, even with a couple of potential issues.

Nothing better than cork for really absorbent coasters
We have a lot of wood furniture in the house, and one thing I know is that wood furniture and wet drinks do not play nicely together. So it’s a big no-no in our house to set a drink down without a coaster under it. But there are good coasters and bad ones. The bad ones have nothing to absorb the moisture, so water drips from my glass when I pick it up. Or worse, the coaster sloshes the collected water onto the table. The good coasters absorb the water condensation that forms on a cold glass or that happens to drip down the side.The best coasters, of course, are made of cork. Not only do they soak up water the best, but they are also cushioning for the glassware and have a natural non-slip texture. These cork coasters are thick and very durable. They even have a lip all the way around that holds in the moisture and also keeps the glass in place. They are easy on the furniture, too. I love that this set comes with 6 coasters, complete with a simple black metal holder for them. We use these all over the house now. I wouldn’t hesitate to get more of these or to give them as gifts. Everyone loves these!
